Blog #13 12/3/22 : Reviving the Blog and our growing community of cornhole in our small town

Hey everybody it has been awhile! We have had a busy few months with continuing to add products with a bunch of other personal things happening in our lives that we weren’t able to keep up with the blog, but we are coming back stronger as ever!
The last time we posted a blog we had just started our local tourneys here at our American legion and has a good turnout for our first few tourneys, but after we took a small break and started them back up we have noticed a huge increase of new players for our area and are now averaging around 30 plus players a tourney with new faces coming in every week. For many bigger cities that isn’t much, but for our small town that is a huge surprise and we even have people traveling an hour plus away just to make our tourneys! We have been having a lot of people asking, “ how are y’all able to get so many people weekly?”. Well the simple answer is we encourage a lot of new players or beginners to come out and just have fun. We want to be competitive but also have everybody playing people at their same skill level or a little better. We do have a mix of upper and lowers players but that’s what makes it so much better and make the teams more fair. It might not be what most skilled players are looking for especially hurting their SPR, but we don’t care about that and just want to get more new people to get comfortable and have fun. We have great turnouts and a lot of exciting games which makes everybody happy. We want to continue to run tourneys as much as we can and keep bringing new faces to the sport. Working with Outkast baggerz has been a great partnership and we really created a fun competitive cornhole environment in a town that never had much going on. If you’re ever in the Bishop,Tx on a Monday night and wanna find something to do. Come check us out at the American legion post 185 and come talk to me Jason gaona or Mike Arredondo and we will make sure we get you set up and ready to go!

as always thank y’all for the support and hope to see y’all at one of our events soon!
